I’ll admit, I’ve tried more than my fair share of mascaras over the years. From promises of thickening and lengthening to fancy tubing and waterproof formulations, vibrating wands and everything in between. But the only one that truly stole my heart is you.
You’ve had stiff competition – I’ve tried mascaras that have provided exceptionally long lashes or impressive staying power. But where They’re Real! takes the title for me, is that you do everything I want in a mascara consistently very well – length, volume, natural-looking curl, long-lasting formula and easy-to-apply.
Your unique plastic wand has long been heralded as the no-fuss alternative to falsies – plus those slightly terrifying lash extensions – and I was a little skeptical at first, but now I understand it! The small spherical ball at the end may resemble a mini medieval weapon, but holds tiny bristles which catch each and every lash in all the hard to reach places, making it perfect for bottom lashes too.
And I’ve worked out my perfect way to apply you – by curling my lashes first and then pushing the wand right down into the roots of my lashes, then wiggling back and forth while gliding the mascara up to the tips. Behold! A set of fluttery my-lashes-but-better blink back at me.
