Knowing the right technique can really make the most of an everyday act – like applying mascara, for instance! We used ModelCo’s Power Lash Mascara – you may remember it from your September box – in this super easy 5-step tutorial:

1. First, curl your lashes with care – to hold the curl a little longer, you can heat the curler with your hairdryer for five seconds (but only five!).

2. Next, apply mascara from the root of your lashes to the tips, sweeping the brush towards your nose. Repeat three times.
3. Repeat the process, but angle the brush towards your temple – three times again.

4. With the tip of the brush, go over your lashes one by one. This will prevent clumping between the lashes – you can use a clean spoolie brush for this if you prefer.
5. Darken your lower lashes – again, gliding the brush from root to tip. If you want extra drama, you can do this again diagonally (as you did on your top lashes toward your temples). Voila!
